Financial News Website Review - MarketWatch

In general it is a good source. But if a commenter posts a negative review or simply points out a poor guidance that the contributor has provided, they will delete the post or the ability to log into the site. And their advertising method is very annoying and counter productive for the site user (it captures your monitor). We give 2 stars!

Educational Website Review - Investopedia: http://www.investopedia.com/

It is the encyclopedia of investments. We call it the "Traders Dictionary". There are a lot of finance terms out there. So if you need help to understand a special finance term you should give this site a search and your question will be answered. We give 5 stars!

Blog Review (2015) - Currency Thoughts: http://currencythoughts.com/

If you are searching for a Forex blog with interesting analytical posts on different currencies "Currency Thoughts" is a good decision. All posts are divided into clear categories to find the right information. Overall a good Forex blog. We give 4 stars!

Forex Portal Review (2014) - FXStreet: http://www.fxstreet.com/

FXStreet is considered by many to be the leading financial portal online specifically dedicated to forex news and information. It offers its visitors a content-rich portal with informative graphs, analysis and articles from various contributing authors and financial analysts. The site also prides itself on offering a wide selection of forex broker reviews and up-to-the-minute market updates to let forex traders know how the markets are trading. If you are looking to get an understanding for what to expect in currency market trading FXStreet is a good place to start. We give 5 stars!

VPS Review (2014) - Commercial Network Services: https://commercialnetworkservices.com/

We have been using commercial network service for some years now and we have been very satisfied with them. The support is quick and fast when you need it. It is an excellent service and good value for money. We give 5 stars!

Educational Website Review (2014) - Brett Steenbarger: http://www.brettsteenbarger.com/

Brett Steenbarger has written many articles containing information on being a better trader by studying yourself. Know yourself, know your system. Take keeping a trade journal. He has articles about the importance as well as how to set them up and metrics to use. Have a look at his site. We give 4 stars!

Magazine Review (2014) - SFO Magazine: http://www.sfomagazine.com/

In our opinion the articles of SFO Magazine are well researched and well written. We have often picked up ideas, strategies and suggestions from reading the articles. We give 5 stars!

Calendar Review (2013) - Econoday Online: http://mam.econoday.com/

This is a good economic calendar. It is well organized with the upcoming economic reports and statistics. This is really useful for every trader. We give 5 stars!

Blog Review (2013) - Kathy Lien: www.kathylien.com

Kathy Lien provides spot on analysis on current economic conditions and price action. Her blog contains both written and visual commentary that are both full of insight and is easy to understand. We like how she looks at different angles to help explain currency movements. We give 4 stars!

Self-Study Course Review (2013) - FX Bootcamp

A few people teach price action, this is one of the few courses about it. However, the course material is incomplete and not explained in detail. The forum is not very active and mostly members are chatting between themselves. We give 1 star!

EA Coder Review (2013) - EA-Coder: http://www.ea-coder.com/

We have used EA Coders for several times and they have done excellent work. Anytime we need adjustments to our EAs, they get it back very quickly. They have always been professional and honest in their work to us. We give 5 stars!

Trading Education Review (2013) - AsiaForexMentor

Nothing much other than providing you with some notes, videos and power point with info on the different price action bars, which you can easily grab those info off google. They probably answer you some questions which you have on their course materials, at their own sweet time, other than that, nothing else. We give 2 stars!

Trading System Review (2013) - The Forex Trading Coach: http://theforextradingcoach.com/

Andrews course is a good value for your money. We have tried other courses and spent a lot more money and at the end they confused newbies! They bombarded with too many strategies and too many time frames to look at. Andrew dumbs it down to the very basic things. Pick the time frame which you are comfortable with and stick to one strategy. Most of all his risk and reward trades have been exceptional which means that you don't have to win every trade to be in front. We give 4 stars!

Magazine Review (2012) - The Economist: http://www.economist.com/

Without question, this is the magazine to choose if you want to read news on a weekly basis, rather than celebrity reports that amount to nothing. Bill Gates said in an interview that he reads every page of The Economist. It's no coincidence that a lot of other smart and influential political, business, academic and media leaders throughout the world do it, too. We give 5 stars!

Self-Study Course Review (2012) - James16 Group

The trading is based on very simple price action setups. However earnings are unstable and returns are small if you are comparing the amount of time it requires. We give 2 stars!

Blog Review (2012) - Raghee Horner: http://ragheehorner.com/

The blog shows some of the most technically sound trading ideas that we encountered, it's definitely not for beginners, not even for the average traders. The site's blogs use a full array of technical analysis jargons. While it's good for professional traders since they can easily understand them, explaining them in simple terms would much be better. We give 3 stars!

News Review (2012) - CNBC Plus

Just like Bloomberg this is not a useful tool for an Forex trader. You're paying for a service of which only a small proportion will help you for an overall view of the market, and you can get the same for free. You want news when it comes out and not a chat about it five minutes later. You want genuine analysis that can help you with today's trades right now and not what may or may not happen in 6 months time. We give 2 stars!

Managed Account Review (2012) - Rob Booker

We spent a long time writing an EA to implement the Grunge Day Trade that Rob described in his webinar with Boris Schlossberg. We paper traded the system for February 2012 and it seemed to be profitable. The EA confirmed by paper trading results (we reviewed each trade). However, all previous months lost a lot of money. Rob is a seasoned pro - i.e. a seasoned marketing pro and author but not a trader. We give 2 stars!

Managed Account Review (2011) - Forexwink

They say that the stop loss is maximum 100 pips at their orders, but they don't use stop loss and the draw dawn sometimes is between 150 and 250. We give 1 star!

Magazine Review (2011) - Currency Trader Magazine: http://www.currencytradermag.com/

Currency Trader is published every month and contains many articles by professional authors. Articles vary from covering recent news topics to technical analyses, to fundamental macroeconomic factors. You can learn a lot of important information on global economics and some interesting connections between various financial markets and Forex. We give 5 stars!

Managed Account Review (2011) - AFXTrading

What they claim on their website and the results we got in our account are totally different. While they say they have a 100% win ratio, our account was damaged in the same month they said they were profitable. We give 1 star!

Calendar Review (2010) - Forex Factory: http://www.forexfactory.com/calendar.php

Overall the calendar is not bad. It provides all the basic information needed, but there are other calendars that provide more detailed information about each economic/fundamental event. We give 4 stars!

News Review (2010) - DailyFX: http://www.dailyfx.com/

It provides a bird's eye view of event risks for the week ahead. Economic releases and commentaries are updated regularly. The site is also updated with technical analysis, which is helpful in drafting trade ideas. Our only beef with this site is its cluttered layout. Its homepage is text-heavy, making it discouraging to read. We give 4 stars!
